The Guard never stops. While not glamorous, a vital part of the guards’ duty is to respond to the civilians’ requests, and keep the peace to the best of their abilities. As a result, this work is often reserved for the new recruits, those on parole, or anyone who finds themselves on the captain's bad side.
This is a supplement for the Mysteries of Middlerock series, featuring several encounters that can be sprinkled between adventures when a change of pace is needed. People talk and the reputation of the guard will be affected by the players’ choices. If they help the people of Middlerock, the people will trust and help them in return. However, if they show themselves to be corrupt, self-serving, or just uncaring then the people of Middlerock will be silent, uncooperative, or even hostile towards the guard.
